Explore the Farm

Built on over 50 acres in the beautiful Asheville mountains, Bliss Farm and Retreat Center is a true oasis. From our kitchen to our yoga space, we take pride in every inch of our spaces. Farm to table to soul.

We both share a passion for cooking and hosting; you never know which of us will be in the kitchen. However, some things never change no matter which of us is cooking. We use all natural or organic ingredients, that are directly from the farm or locally sourced, so that you can enjoy guiltless meals inspired by flavors from around the world. We carefully select each and every ingredient right down to the very spices, from Himalayan salt to organic pepper corns.

With a typical bed and breakfast stay, breakfast only is provided. For group retreats, full meals are provided. Please ensure to notate when booking if you have food allergy, vegan or vegetarian requirements and we will do our best to accommodate.

Yoga Space

From our passion for total health and wellness comes our passion for yoga. We truly believe in the physical, spiritual, mental and emotional benefits of yoga practice. Guests can participate in yoga classes, meditation classes, or practice on their own at one of our meditation and yoga areas with the harmonious ambiance nature provides. We provide multiple sites on our farm for yoga and meditation with a serene environment nestled in nature and beautiful mountain views. We also offer yoga retreats for groups. Individual guests may be able to attend classes lead by certified yoga instructor during their stay based on availability, contact us for details.

The Farm

With over 50 beautiful mountain acres, Bliss Farm provides privacy and freedom to explore nature. We stock our kitchen with as many products from the farm as possible. Guests are welcome to experience gathering eggs for breakfast, milk goats, or simply hangout with the animals. Guests can learn about agriculture or casually enjoy the ambiance a farm provides. All animals on Bliss Farm are raised organically and sustainably, and are treated like family, because they are our family.

Our farm is located right in Pisgah National Forest just a few miles from Mount Mitchell, which you can actually see from some peaks on the farm.  We offer hiking, biking or walking trails, and also welcome you to relax by the pond and feed the fish, enjoy camp fires with other guests, hang out with the farm animals, collect eggs, milk goats, and pick fruits or vegetables! There are endless activities at Bliss Farm whether you’re the active type or simply want to lounge in a hammock and fall asleep with a book and the sounds of nature.

The Garden

Bliss Farm strives to be as self-sustaining as possible. We are always growing and improving our methods. As seasons permit, guests will enjoy produce from right here on the farm or locally sourced products that meet the high standards that we maintain: no pesticides, herbicides, GMO’s, chemical fertilizers, etc. Soon we hope to have a greenhouse so we can provide longer growing seasons to serve our guests year round. Guests are welcome to learn about sustainable agriculture during their stay, pick fruits and vegetables for meals or even for a casual snack while hiking or exploring. Due to costs and complications, we are not yet a certified organic farm. However, we maintain low impact, organic farming practices in every way.

The Farmhouse

Come join us at the Farmhouse and enjoy all we have to offer.   Sit by the cracking fire with a good book or glass of wine while looking out over our mountain view. Gather around the kitchen island and take part in some good conversation whilst Frank and Kelly prepare a meal. Sit in our garden and listen to the nearby streams. Take the time to truly unwind, relax, and disconnect from the stresses of daily life at Bliss Farm.
