Military Healing Retreats

Military Retreat Asheville

A space for warriors and their families to heal.

Bliss Farm and Retreat founders, Frank and Kelly King, are honored to provide sanctuary for military families and veterans. As a former Marine who has first-hand experience in the hardships and risks associated with military service, Frank is committed to offering the programs and facilities so vital to the healing of individuals who have served and their families. Getting in touch with nature through organic farming and learning essential life skills were critical practices to Frank’s own healing journey. Providing healthful foods for food for people gave Frank a sense of meaning, peace, and fulfillment.

The retreat center, located thirty minutes north of Asheville, is the ideal setting for visitors and program attendees to enjoy the simple pleasures of nature, nourishment, and rest. Tranquility is indeed a necessity, and not just a luxury, for those experiencing military-related loss and trauma. Veterans and military families have utilized the facilities at Bliss to engage in therapy, enjoy motivational speakers, connect with like-minded individuals, and develop a variety of life skills. The center values their continued partnership with the EOD Warrior Foundation and looks forward to continued service and support of military personnel.

If you are a like-minded mental health professional looking to host retreats in a serene and welcoming setting focused on supporting the families of deployed military personnel, victims of military-related loss, and/or veterans, let’s chat.
